The Beauty of Taiwan

Being drawn to Mother Nature, the thrill of extreme sports, and the opportunity to enhance mental and physical health, I've developed an interest for hiking since 2022. Taiwan, formed between the Philippine Sea Plate and the Eurasian Plate, features several towering mountains. The Bai Yue (百岳), commonly referred to as the "100 Mountains," comprises 100 Taiwan’s most desired mountain trails with elevations exceeding 3000 meters. All of these peaks are categorized as Class 2 (elevations between 3,500 - 4,500 meters) to Class 3 (elevations between 2,500 - 3,500 meters) mountainous environments according to the UN Environmental Programme.
